Miss Gay USofA at Large Promoter to represent arrested protesters pro bono

The Miss Gay USofA at Large pageantry system has announced their support for Black Lives Matter Movement for Equality. The announcement came via a statement posted on their official Facebook on Thursday, June 11, 2020.

Jeremy Burnette, one half of the national owners will also volunteer his service to represent arrested protestors pro bono. Jeremy is a partner at Akerman LLP and studied law at Georgia State University.

A donation was also made to Black Lives Matter and the Transgender Law Center, for whom Jeremy provides pro bono legal services.
