Arizona Pride Tour sponsored by Drag Confidential raises over $10,000 to date.

Arizona Pride Tour sponsored by Drag Confidential raises over $10,000 with 7 additional tour stops to go.

The Arizona Pride Tour is a non-profit tour to raise funds for the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona. It features a group of performers and LGBTQIA+ community members who are giving back to communities who don't often have LGBTQIA+ representation. The tour is focusing mostly on Arizona's most rural communities.

The Arizona Pride Tour kicked off January 29, 2022 in Casa Grande, Arizona with a sold out show and is selling out throughout the state. As of press time the tour has raised over $12,000. The tour has got some pushed back from some locals in two of the cities with planned tour stops, Lake Havasu, Arizona and Prescott, Arizona. The locals want to stop the tour stop from coming to their city stating that Drag is considered adult entertainment.

"We choose these cities simply for the fact that we know there are members of the LGBQIA+ community in these cities who may not feel safe to be their authentic self. But when the tour comes to town, if only for this one night, they can feel safe and be their authentic self. " said founder Christopher Jay Hall

The tour continues Saturday February, 5, 2022 in Lake Havasu, Arizona and continues throughout the month of February, March and April.
