A New Miss Gay Texas USofA Crowned in Houston, Texas

The 35th anniversary of Miss Gay Texas USofA Honoring Taryn Taylor (Miss Gay Texas USofA 2020) was held August 24 – August 27, 2021, in Houston, Texas.

A total of 17 contestants from across the Lonestar state competed for crown in three categories, Interview, Evening Gown & Talent.

Preliminary Night competition was held Tuesday – Thursday at Neon Boots and Final Night was held on Friday August 27, 2021, at The Ballroom at Bayou Place. The pageant owned by Mr. Craig Henderson featured the reigning Miss Gay USofA Kennedy Davenport and a host of former Miss Gay Texas USofA’s.

Tonica Cavalli of San Antonio, Texas was crowned winning Talent and being within the Top 3 in the remaining two categories 2nd in Interview and 3rd in Evening Gown.

Jade Summers won Interview with a perfect score of 60 and Josephine O’hara Andrews won Evening Gown with a score of 57.
